7th Sky Software (SMC-Pvt) Ltd is looking for a WordPress Plugin Developer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position with the possibility of transitioning to an office-based role in the future. We are seeking a developer with strong WordPress development skills who is eager to work on custom plugin development, performance optimization, and innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch based on project requirements.
✔ Maintain, optimize, and improve existing plugins to ensure performance and security.
✔ Implement and follow WordPress coding standards to ensure high-quality code.
✔ Fix bugs, enhance features, and integrate third-party APIs.
✔ Optimize security and performance to prevent vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and SQL Injection.
✔ Work with hooks, filters, REST API, and Ajax to build efficient solutions.
✔ Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers for seamless execution.
✔ Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and best practices.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills & Experience

✔ Minimum 1 year of experience in WordPress plugin development.
✔ Strong understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
✔ Experience with WordPress Hooks, Filters, REST API, and Ajax.
✔ Proficiency in MySQL databases and writing efficient queries.
✔ Familiarity with custom post types, shortcodes, and Gutenberg blocks.
✔ Experience managing wp_enqueue_script and wp_enqueue_style for asset handling.
✔ Ability to write secure, scalable, and well-documented code.
✔ Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Security & Performance Optimization

✔ Must follow secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and SQL Injection.
✔ Experience in handling remote API calls safely.
✔ Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills (Bonus, But Not Mandatory)

✔ Experience with WordPress Multisite.
✔ Familiarity with WooCommerce plugin development.
✔ Understanding of Git version control.
✔ Basic knowledge of React.js for Gutenberg block development.
