We are seeking enthusiastic and talented WordPress Developer Interns to join our dynamic team for a summer internship. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in WordPress development and can potentially lead to a full-time position with Mavericks United. The role requires a fast turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
- Collaborate with senior developers to create responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Implement new features and functionalities using WordPress plugins and themes.
- Optimize website performance and ensure security.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in WordPress development.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with WordPress, including themes and plugins.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of web development.
- Willingness to work US working hours.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and tight deadlines.
