Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Wordpress websites.
- Work on Wordpress themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Wordpress websites.
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet company and client requirements.
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins to add new features and functionalities.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs, performance problems, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement new features and ensure cohesive design and content integration.
- Conduct regular website updates, including content updates, theme and plugin updates, and security patches.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques, including caching, minification, and image optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
