As a WordPress Developer (Aesthetics Specialist) at Atompoint, you will be responsible for crafting visually appealing and user-centric websites while ensuring seamless functionality and performance. You will work closely with our design and development teams to translate creative concepts into fully functional and visually stunning WordPress websites. This role requires a deep understanding of WordPress, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a strong passion for staying up-to-date with the latest web design trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create visually stunning and highly functional WordPress websites.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
- Implement visual elements, such as graphics, animations, and interactive components, while paying close attention to user experience and design.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs, such as payment gateways or social media and other platforms.
- Familiarity with web hosting technologies, such as Apache, Nginx, and cPanel
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to design, layout, and functionality in a timely manner.
- Webflow expert with good command on animations
- Perform regular updates and maintenance on WordPress sites to ensure optimal performance, security, and compatibility with the latest WordPress version and industry standards.
- Stay informed of the latest design trends, tools, and WordPress-related technologies, sharing your knowledge with the team and continuously improving our offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Sound understanding of Core PHP.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP, along with experience using front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Understanding of WordPress core architecture, including custom post types, taxonomies.
- Familiarity with website design principles, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design tools.
- Experience with website optimization tools and techniques, such as caching, minification, and image optimization.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them in WordPress sites.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
