InfloWay Technologies (An American based IT company) is looking for a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from scratch and plugins.
Please note that this is an evening timing job and your job timings will be 2pm – 11pm (5 days a week) and if you have not done Theme development / Custom Theme creation then please do not apply to this job
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Execute coding of web-related projects.
- PSD to Wordpress – Custom Theme Development from Scratch.
- Develop new sites and maintain existing sites with enhancements.
- Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the WordPress platform strategy for the business.
- Create bespoke plugins and developing modules for WordPress.
- Document technical and functional specifications.
- Communicate with different departments to resolve any vulnerabilities in the project.
- Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live' deadlines.
- Mentor to junior developers when required.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required SKILLS:
- Must have professional experience of at least 2 years or more in Wordpress Theme Creation from Scratch.
- Good knowledge of programming in Core PHP is required.
- Good knowledge of Database design and writing SQL queries
- Good knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery and PHP Frameworks
- Excellent understanding of web frontend and WordPress themes
- Proficient in creating responsive themes from SCRATCH, HTML to WordPress and PSD to WordPress
- Must have ability to create custom post types and custom fields.
- Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
