Description:
Ingredion is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee all activities in the Finished Goods and Packaging Material warehouses at the Cornwala Plant. The role includes managing inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring inventory control, upholding warehouse safety standards, and implementing continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and leadership, with expertise in warehouse operations, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards.
Critical Deliverables:
Coordinate the receipt of inbound goods from production and ensure adherence to standardized storage protocols.
Plan storage strategies in alignment with production schedules.
Direct warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and security measures.
Maintain appropriate storage environments to protect goods from adverse weather conditions.
Execute delivery and fulfillment processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting Perfect Order benchmarks.
Enhance dispatch quality to reduce customer complaints.
Administer outbound logistics in compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
Lead and train the team in advanced warehouse methodologies.
Ensure Material Handling Equipment operates continuously to avoid delays.
Facilitate internal and external audits by customers or third parties.
Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse in compliance with Food-Grade Quality Management Systems.
Guide the team to improve overall warehouse operations.
Compile and manage comprehensive records and reports on warehouse activities, staff, and machinery.
Collaborate with inventory and order processing teams to adjust stock levels.
Oversee Integrated Pest Management activities to preserve finished goods integrity.
Agility and Innovation:
Regularly update and generate reports to track warehouse activities.
Optimize logistics for enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Oversee physical upkeep of the warehouse, including layout improvements and equipment maintenance.
Proactively identify and address workplace hazards and safety risks.
Strive for excellence in operations, adhering to the Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Lead special projects as assigned by management.
Ensure effective manpower deployment and scheduling to meet organizational goals.
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluating team performance.
Performance Management:
Set clear expectations for staff performance.
Monitor job results and provide feedback and appraisals.
Coach and counsel employees for performance enhancement.
Implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
Systems and Policies:
Contribute to the development and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures.
Enforce productivity standards across warehouse operations.
Mandatory Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience: 6-8 years in Supply Chain and Logistics management.
Languages: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Required Behaviors and Skills:

Software Proficiency: Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Office.
Data Management: Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data effectively.
