Job Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide two students on how to improve their career exploration skills by following a structured syllabus
• Facilitate their understanding of their personal strengths, finding jobs, writing personal statements, using job sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed and more
• Instill confidence in students and provide them supportive feedback in a safe environment
• Engage in our Slack community to share feedback, challenges, and wins from the program
• Commit to the duration of the project, which is 10 weeks or however long it takes to complete the syllabus

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English
• Experience in finding and securing jobs, resume/cover letter writing, interviewing and other career-oriented soft skills
• Experience in mentorship preferred
• Experience with any of the following: MS Word / PowerPoint / Slack / Google Docs / Google G Suite
• Please note you will be working with a worldwide Pakistani community during this initiative. Speaking the local language, Urdu, is not a requirement but is preferred.
