Denning Services (Private) Limited, a leading transnational educational institution in Pakistan, is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join their team. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality, engaging video content for social media platforms, including both long-form and short-form videos.

The role involves working closely with the social media and content teams to create creative video content aligned with brand guidelines, using a range of editing techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging video content for social media platforms, including trimming, cutting, arranging footage, adding transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects.

• Perform color correction and grading, and add text overlays and captions.

• Edit both long-form and short-form videos tailored for social media.

• Create compelling and visually appealing thumbnails for videos.

• Collaborate with the social media and content teams to create innovative video concepts.

• Ensure all content meets brand standards and aligns with brand guidelines.

• Utilize creative editing techniques and apps, including AI tools, to produce exceptional video content under tight deadlines.

• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and ensure on-time delivery.

• Stay up-to-date with social media video editing trends and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio of edited videos for social media platforms.

• Proficient in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects.

• Strong knowledge of video production and post-production workflows, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.

• Experience in creating thumbnails using graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.

• Strong creative skills in storytelling, composition, and pacing.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

• Understanding of social media platform-specific video optimization best practices.

• Experience with 3-D modeling and rendering animation is a plus.
