Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in video editing and animation, proficiency in industry-standard software, and a keen eye for storytelling and detail.

You will be responsible for editing a variety of video content across different platforms, ensuring high-quality production and creative storytelling. You’ll work on projects ranging from corporate videos to social media content, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver engaging video content.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Edit and produce high-quality videos across various formats including talking head videos, animations, faceless videos, promotional videos, and more.

 

- Work with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing software.

 

- Collaborate with the team and clients to understand briefs and execute creative concepts.

 

- Perform color grading, sound design, and motion graphics when necessary.

 

- Adapt video content for different platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

 

- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

 

Requirements:

 

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in video editing and animations. Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be considered for higher salary tiers (up to 100,000 PKR).

 

Software Expertise:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Skills in color grading, sound design, and motion graphics are essential.
• Familiarity with 3D animation software like Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Experience with multi-camera editing and synchronization is highly valued for senior positions.

 

Content Creation:

 

• Expertise in editing various video formats, including talking head videos, short ads, 2D/3D animations, faceless videos, and social media content.
• Ability to create engaging, platform-specific content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

 

Storytelling: Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual composition to produce high-quality, engaging content across different genres.

 

Communication:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and execute client briefs.
• Proficient in providing feedback and collaborating with team members.

 

Additional Skills:

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management and digital asset management tools.
• Awareness of video marketing, SEO best practices, and current video trends.
