Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a video editor at The Roots Digital in Karachi. The Video Editor will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as creating visually appealing and engaging videos to meet the company's and clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Collaborate with the cross functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual storytelling.
- Ensure video projects are completed on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Enhance videos with motion graphics, special effects, and animations as needed.
- Manage and organize video files and assets effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and production techniques.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and concepts for video projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years experience
- Video Production, Video Editing, and Video Color Grading skills, making reel shorts with trendy styles using motion graphics, sound effects, VFX, and good command over Adobe After Effects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and online AI tools.
- Keen eye for details
- Strong creative and storytelling abilities
- Knowledge of current video trends and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
