Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Vendor Outreach Specialist to lead our outreach efforts for the BuyHalalGoods.com platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and contacting Halal product manufacturers in the US and Canada, encouraging them to list their products on our platform, and managing these relationships effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the Halal market, and the ability to work the specified hours in our Lahore office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a vendor outreach strategy tailored to Halal product manufacturers in the US and Canada.
- Identify and segment potential Halal product vendors based on product type, volume, and geographical location.
- Initiate contact with potential vendors through personalized emails, phone calls, and video conferences.
- Prepare and distribute introductory materials explaining the benefits of listing products on BuyHalalGoods.com.
- Arrange and conduct initial meetings with vendors to discuss partnership opportunities and platform requirements.
- Guide vendors through the process of listing their products on BuyHalalGoods.com and managing FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant).
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors through regular communication and support.
- Monitor vendor performance and product listings to ensure quality and compliance with platform standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address vendor needs and improve the overall vendor experience.
- Keep accurate records of vendor interactions and performance metrics using CRM and project management tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Halal product sourcing and vendor management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management, outreach, or a related role, preferably within the Halal food industry or e-commerce sector.
- Strong understanding of Halal certification and market requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with vendors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with the US and Canadian markets is a plus.
