As an Upwork Manager at HybridDot, you will be responsible for driving our client acquisition strategy on the Upwork platform. You will work across three diverse and dynamic industries—Creative Agency, Architecture, and Software Development—to identify new business opportunities, create winning proposals, and build long-term client relationships. Your ability to manage multiple projects and clients while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Profile Management:
    You will maintain and optimize compelling Upwork profiles for the company, ensuring they are always aligned with the latest trends and client expectations. A key part of this role will involve making sure our profiles stand out and are regularly updated to enhance our visibility.

  • Lead Generation & Bidding:
    Identify new projects on Upwork that align with our expertise in the creative, architecture, and software development fields. You will craft detailed and customized proposals for each opportunity, ensuring that our submissions stand out to potential clients. This requires a deep understanding of client needs and how we can offer tailored solutions.

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:
    You will focus on building long-term relationships with clients by engaging with them through Upwork's platform and other channels. Your role will be crucial in acquiring new clients and ensuring that they remain satisfied with our services. Strong relationship-building skills are essential to help foster trust and ensure repeat business.

  • Project Coordination:
    As Upwork Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects. You will act as the main point of contact between clients and internal departments, ensuring that all expectations are met and communication is seamless.

  • Negotiation & Contracts:
    A significant part of your role will involve negotiating the terms of contracts with potential clients. This includes discussing project scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing. Your aim will be to secure profitable, mutually beneficial deals that ensure long-term success for both the client and HybridDot.

  • Performance Tracking:
    Continuously assess and track the performance of proposals and client interactions. You will be expected to optimize our bidding strategies based on the feedback and outcomes from previous projects, striving to improve the success rate of winning bids.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    You should have proven experience managing Upwork profiles, bidding for projects, and securing clients on the platform. Experience in the creative, architecture, or software development sectors will be an added advantage.

  • Proposal Writing & Negotiation Skills:
    A strong ability to write compelling proposals that clearly demonstrate how our services can meet client needs is essential. Additionally, you must possess negotiation skills to secure contracts and build long-lasting relationships.

  • Project Management Skills:
    You will be handling multiple projects, so experience in project management and coordinating between teams is essential. Your role will involve ensuring all projects meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

  • Communication Skills:
    Clear and professional communication is crucial, both in writing and verbally. You must be able to explain complex ideas and technical details to clients who may not be familiar with the industry jargon.

  • Self-motivated & Results-Driven:
    This is a goal-oriented role, where your success will be measured by how well you meet client acquisition targets and project delivery deadlines. Self-motivation and a proactive approach to your work will be key in this role.
