The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing projects on Upwork and similar platforms by crafting compelling bids and establishing long-term relationships with clients. This role is critical to our business growth and requires excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
- Write customized and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong profile and portfolio on Upwork to attract clients.
- Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their project needs.
- Negotiate project terms, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project scopes and deliverables.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain a consistent and organized record of bids, client interactions, and project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Upwork and other freelance platforms' bidding processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to craft engaging and tailored proposals.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Solid negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
- Familiarity with IT services, web development, digital marketing, or related fields.
