Description:
As a UI/UX Designer at Games Enable, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our games. You will work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to create user interfaces that enhance the gameplay experience and ensure a seamless and enjoyable journey for players.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Prototype: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights to inform design decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure cohesive and consistent design across the game.
- Visual Design: Develop visually appealing UI elements that align with the overall art direction and enhance the game’s aesthetic.
- Interaction Design: Design intuitive and responsive interactions that enhance the user experience and contribute to the gameplay mechanics.
- Iterate and Improve: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, playtesting, and data analysis to improve the user experience.
- Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and specifications to ensure clear communication and implementation of design ideas.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Creativity: Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional user interfaces.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different art styles and project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user interactions and experiences.
- Passion for Games: A genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes a great gaming experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with Game Engines: Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Motion Graphics: Experience with motion graphics and animation tools is an advantage.
