Truckload Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, expanding our network, and ensuring reliable, efficient truckload services across the United States.
• Collaborate with the sales team to arrange the best truckload configurations, taking into account shipment pick-up and drop-off points, weight, commodity, estimated time of arrival, and last free day.
• Deliver excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify and negotiate with the best carriers for truckload shipments to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Follow up with compliance to verify carrier credentials and qualifications according to federal and state transportation regulations.
• Draft and maintain relevant documents, such as invoices and delivery receipts.
• Actively expand our carrier network through cold calling and other recruitment strategies.
• Strive to maintain a win-loss momentum at 50-50 percent, indicating successful carrier negotiations and recruitment.
• Identify and present innovative ideas to Operation Leads and Sales Heads to maximize productivity in the truckload department.
• Maintain daily records and data sheets for organizational and tracking purposes.
• Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs by recruiting new truckload carriers every month (minimum of 3 carriers).
• Optimize truckload transportation costs while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Conduct bi-weekly/monthly meetings with management and team members to review performance, strategize, and improve processes.
