Truck Dispatching Sales Executive

 

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Truck Dispatcher Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing the logistics of freight transportation. This role combines sales expertise with dispatching skills to optimize the efficiency and profitability of our trucking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and brokers.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with clients and carriers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Dispatching and Logistics:

  • Coordinate and schedule freight transportation, ensuring timely delivery and optimal routes.
  • Monitor and manage the daily operations of the trucking fleet.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process promptly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on shipment status to clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and dispatch activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance and dispatch operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
