Truck Dispatchers

Description:

1. Coordinate and dispatch truck drivers to pick up and deliver loads.
2. Track and monitor driver locations and progress to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
3. Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Update shipment information in dispatch software and other systems as needed.
5. Plan and optimize driver routes based on load requirements and driver availability.
6. Monitor driver hours-of-service and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
7. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and on time.
8. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure all questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
9. Continuously evaluate and improve dispatch processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in truck dispatching or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of trucking regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
