Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching
- Must have good verbal communication skills
- knowledge of Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Flatebed, Box Truck e.t.c and specialized freight
- Must be able to interact effectively within all levels of the Customer's
- Ability to work under US Hours
- Fluent in Spoken and Written English
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Understand load boards
- Required Education College and Higher
Responsibilities:
- Hours: Monday-Friday; 5pm – 2a
- The Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative oversees dispatching and communication functions to ensure on-time delivery completion
- Communicates with drivers and customers through computers or phones, and assigns carriers to routes
- Ensures drivers are on time and keeps track of status of route and delivery completion
- Acts as liaison and answers incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
- Keeps customers informed of delivery status
- Reviews pictures of merchandise and signatures
- -You will be responsible for driving the sales process with potential prospects
- -Contact Prospective clients through cold calls and emails
- -Achieve all individuals activity and revenue targets set by the company
- -Provide recommendations based on the prospect's business needs and negotiate contract terms
- -Set up meetings/calls between prospective clients and account executives
- -Work across multiple departments to ensure common objectives are reached
- -Reschedule/Follow up with prospects if meetings don't occur
