Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and trace freight movements from origin to destination
- Must maintain and update the information provided by carriers to internal and external clients
- Keeping up to date with the best tracking methods
- Updating and maintaining the tracking system with accurate shipment information
- Communicate delivery status and updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining relationships with carriers and customers to ensure cost-effective services
- Handle client issues according to the client's operating procedures or escalate them if needed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance track and trace efficiency
The Skill Set
- Excellent spoken English (mandatory)
- Logistics or related industry experience is an ad on
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Can handle overseas customers over the call
- Problem-solving skills, Decision making ability
- Familiar with basics of Ms Excel - Can understand and analyse data
