Technical Writer

Description:

We are seeking a highly-motivated Technical Writer Intern to join our team.

Your primary role will be to assist the technical writing team in creating and updating all documentation, including user manuals and how-to guides. You will collaborate with the team to learn about technical documentation and concepts, working to simplify complex technical information into easy-to-understand text

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will be assigned the following duties and responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with the technical writing team to gain a basic understanding of documentation requirements and specifications.

·      Learn about the technical documentation and concepts adopted by our company.

·      Brainstorm with the development team to simplify technical information for end-users.

·      Edit and proofread all technical documents before submitting them to editors or your supervisors.

·      Assist in creating high-quality documentation, guides, manuals, and tutorials.

·      Review and update documentation when required.

Requirements

• Must have the Bachelor’s degree with (Original Degree & transcript) in, Computer Science, English, Information Management, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
• Proficient in written and verbal English
• Familiar with technical concepts and the subject matter
• Knowledge of software languages, development models and tools is a plus
