Description:
The Technical Service Lead is responsible providing technical support including on-site visits to the customers in the assigned territory and feed the new product innovation pipeline with customer- and market-driven front-end ideas.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise – Develop a deep understanding of paper and corrugated products, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in paper and corrugation materials. Utilize analytical equipment to diagnose problems and apply technical knowledge to subsequently make recommendations on ingredient selection and/or process adjustments.
- Technical Support - Serve as the first point of contact for assigned customers requiring technical support within assigned territory. Provide technical support along the customers’ innovation process from ideation to commercialization to meet agreed business growth targets. Liaison with R&T and application team for development of new products and solutions.
- Customer Support – Analyze customer processes and formulations and provide timely recommendations meeting customer requirements for cost savings, quality improvements, or product innovation. Interact with customers for market insight, customer need analysis and new solution validation. Contribute heavily to the development of detailed customer account plans, working in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Market Insights - Identify trends, macro insights and future scenarios that could impact long-term and short-term business growth. Identify innovation project ideas in support of the Segment growth and expand portfolio in line with market, customer, and consumer needs.
- Market Expansion & Growth - Identify and execute sales with new customers and distributors customers for a sustainable growth agenda. Develop and deliver launch plans for new products, track progress in the marketplace. Development and implementation of strategies and provide input for the Strat Plan. Contribute the development of implementation plans to help drive Core and Specialty growth.
- Networking & Relationship Management - Develop broad set of working relationship with other colleagues, peers, and stakeholders in the organization for effective and smooth work environment. Interface with customers, industry specialists, trade associations etc. to understand the market and develop formal and informal networks.
Mandatory Requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
- BSc / MSc Chemical engineering, Textile Engineering, MSc Chemistry.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience
Desirable Requirements
- B2B Solid experience in Segment Marketing or Product Marketing, specifically in the industrial business-like Textile or chemicals.
- Experience across various industrial applications and ingredients.
- Interest in keeping up to date with the latest developments and market knowledge.
- Strong analytical, communication & presentation skills.
