Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Source, attract, and hire top technical talent (developers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, etc.) for the organization.
  • Leverage multiple recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and employee referrals.

2. Recruitment Strategy

  • Develop and implement a scalable recruitment strategy tailored to the needs of a startup environment.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

3. Candidate Screening & Assessment

  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with technical teams.
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical assessments, coding tests, or portfolio reviews.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job descriptions, qualifications, and desired profiles.
  • Provide guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and salary benchmarking.

5. Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with all applicants.

6. Employer Branding

  • Support initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the tech community.
  • Actively participate in tech meetups, career fairs, and other networking events.

7. Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report key hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness.
  • Continuously optimize the recruitment process based on data insights.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in technical recruiting, preferably for startups or software development companies.
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring for roles like full-stack developers, mobile app developers, DevOps engineers, etc.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development technologies and methodologies (e.g., Agile, tech stacks, and coding languages).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, AngelList, or GitHub).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
