Description:
The Project Manager Scrum Master is responsible for driving the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using agile development best practices and ensuring project management using the latest techniques to ensure timely delivery. This role is responsible for executing the agile development practices and supporting stakeholders in implementing the agile methodology at various stages of SDLC.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business requirements for the project, and develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.
- Managing the scrum process, and coordinating the scrum team, in an Agile environment.
- Removing impediments for the scrum team and escalating issues directly to key stakeholders, if necessary.
- Arranging and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, providing demonstrations, and decision-making processes to ensure quick inspection and appropriate use of adaptation processes.
- Conducting sprint reviews retrospective meetings and project presentations.
- Organizing and facilitating sprint planning meeting/s.
- Maintain the backlog (assist the Product Owner in prioritizing backlog).
- Estimate and plan projects from start to finish together with a team.
- Acting as a safeguard for their team.

- Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or higher in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Business Administration or related field.
- Scrum Master certification CSM, PSM preferred
- Agile Delivery / Project Management / Scrum Master experience ideally within the software product development industry, minimum 3 years
- Experience in coordinating and reporting of software development activities throughout the SDLC
- Good understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, XP)
- Experience with agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, MS project, Jira, Trello, Asana, Confluence or similar
- Experience in managing distributed, cross functional and multiple agile teams
- Strong service/client-oriented attitude
- Solid understanding of change and expectations management
- A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
