We, J.A.S.B. & Associates, Chartered Accountants are recruiting professionals for our client (based in Islamabad) which is a leader in the fast-developing market of Internet Investment Banking (IIB) operating across the US and Europe providing investment banking services to mid-market corporates seeking to acquire, sell or raise debt or equity finance. This is an opportunity for high caliber individuals to join the team as the Company progressing with ambitious growth plans across the operations. You will oversee the operations of Islamabad office for providing professional services to retained investment banking corporate clients in the UK and Europe, which uses a cutting-edge M&A platform. The position will involve overseeing staff, guiding operations, coordinating with the senior management and UK based team leads in addition to performing research, analysis and financial modeling. The successful candidate will be involved and required to coordinate activities of company research, strategic thought leadership related to company positioning, valuation analysis, report generation, buyer or acquisition target research, industry and competitive analysis and project campaign execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the senior management in all daily operations of the country office.
- Coordinate day-to-day management of junior analysts across the organization’s global offices
- Support senior management in recruitment drive.
- Keep track of staff performance, appraisal, status, benefits and other relevant information.
- Management and supervision of junior investment banking analysts
- Training of junior analysts on M&A, campaigns, financial models etc
- Financial analysis, valuation modelling and report generation
- Execution of M&A and capital raising assignments/project management
- Researching industry sectors and analysing companies, industries, and financial statements/performance
- Development of marketing materials including financial models, confidential memorandum, and presentations
- Leading industry research, profiling buyers and target corporates supported by due diligence
- Lead calling efforts and email campaigns on projects and associated client reporting function
- Organize and execute team engagement activities as per organizational practices.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree from a top tier institute
- Advanced degree or professional qualification including CA/ACCA/CFA/MBA
- 6-15 years’ experience of managing professional team or departmental head in banking, M&A, or similar or other corporate experience related to finance.
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Excellent leadership qualities.
- Experience in transaction-oriented business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Fluency in other foreign languages will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Advanced user of data analysis platform like Excel or PowerBI will be an advantage.
- Experience obtained from working within an international organization is preferred
