Description:
We are looking for a Systems Support Engineer, who specializes in 1st level support of software, data & hardware solutions via calls, e-mails & remote support.
· Experience in networking, and structured cabling.
· Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
· Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
· Experience with firewalls SOPHOS/ pfSense, internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
· Working Experience with NAS / FreeNAS.
· Work experience with Storage Technologies (EMC, Veritas Netbackup, etc)
· Working knowledge of the Linux Operating System.
· Knowledge of "Infrastructure as Code" as the way to manage infrastructure.
· CCTV-NVR/DVR Configuration.
· Extensive experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services.
· Ability to set up User Profiles, including account setup and network configuration.
· Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
· Follow up with resources to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
· Understanding of ITIL and Agile modes of IT management.
· Coordinate with vendors for procurement.
· Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Engineering relative filed.
· Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· CCNA
· MCSA
· 1 to 3 Years of experience.
