System Administrator

Description:

We are in search of a "System Administrator" to join our esteemed team. The System Administrator will manage the deployment, configuration, and performance monitoring of various server environments, including OpenStack, H3C UIS, and Linux systems.

Responsibilities:

• Linux Administration:

In-dept knowledge and hands-on experience of Linux based infrastructure. Install, configure, and manage Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal system performance and security. Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions in a timely manner, managing system logs, performance tuning, and applying patches At-least 3-Years hands-on experience of Linux architecture

• OpenStack Administration:

Good knowledge and hands-on experience of OpenStack technology on projects. Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack environments, ensuring performance optimization and high availability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to compute, networking, and storage within the OpenStack platform.

• H3C UIS Administration:

Administer H3C Unified Infrastructure Solution (UIS) environments, focusing on network integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Configure and monitor UIS components for optimum network connectivity and operational stability. Assist in setting up, monitoring, and maintaining H3C hardware and software for seamless integration with organizational systems.

• Server Hardware Administration:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical server hardware. Monitor server health, perform diagnostics, and troubleshoot hardware failures, ensuring minimum downtime. Work with vendors for hardware replacements and upgrades when necessary.

💥 Skills and Technical Competency:

 Virtualization:

• Strong expertise in OpenStack platform administration, including experience with compute, storage, and networking components.
• Understanding of cloud security practices, network management, and multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of H3C UIS setup and configuration.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to maintain optimal network performance.

 System Administration:

• Proficiency in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) system administration, shell scripting, and system automation.
• Expertise in server hardware management, including RAID configurations, power management, and hardware diagnostics.

 Security and Backup Solutions:

• In-depth knowledge of securing Linux systems and OpenStack environments.
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery processes to ensure system data integrity and availability.

 Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimizing systems for high availability and reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Professional certifications (e.g., MCSA, VCP-DCV) preferred
