Structural Draftsman

Description:

As a Structural Draftsperson, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and schedules using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures. You will collaborate closely with engineers and architects to develop structural designs and drawings, ensuring that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications. Additionally, you will review and verify drawings for accuracy and completeness, and provide support in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and schedules using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural designs and drawings
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Provide support in the preparation of technical documentation and reports
• Optimize drawings and designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in the coordination of projects from conception to completion
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Draftsperson
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures
• Solid background in steel structures
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Understanding of relevant industry standards and codes
