Staff Accountant

 

Description:

Omega FinTech LLC is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team in Lahore. You’ll be responsible for various accounting functions, including daily bank reconciliations, intercompany reports, and the preparation of cash and financial reports. You will also book transactions, accruals, and tax-related entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in month-end processes. Additionally, you will work with Oracle EPM to complete BPC workbooks and play a key role in AR/AP management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, coordinating with treasury and intercompany reports.
  • Prepare daily cash reports and manage the booking of transactions and accruals from intercompany statements.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper booking of month-end entries.
  • Process accruals for taxes, utilities, and other expenses, along with reclassification of AR and AP entries.
  • Use Oracle EPM to complete BPC workbooks for effective financial processes.
  • Provide accurate general ledger (GL) analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MIS, and report generation, with strong GL analysis skills.
  • Experience with accounting systems, ERP software, and Oracle EPM.
  • Attention to detail, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • ACCA, CA, or M.Com preferred, but significant experience will be prioritized.
