Description:

As a Front-end Engineer, you will assist with all functions of software coding and design. Your primary focus will be turning UI/UX design into a functional code that adheres to requirements provided by the product stakeholders and the design team. You will be required to work in collaboration with design, product, software quality assurance, and software development teams. To ensure success as a Front-end Software Engineer, you should have a good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and their frameworks, you will receive recognition for your code quality, pixel-perfect UI/UX development, and ability to learn and interact with other team members. 

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Translating wireframes into front-end high-quality code with high-quality reusable and responsive components.

• Collaborating with managers, backend developers, and other team members to come up with elegant solutions. 

• Ability to brainstorm, evaluate, and assess blockchain technology best suited for envisioned functionalities.

• Adhere to style guides provided by the UX/UI designers and standards practices of user experience development.

• Applying the latest cryptology techniques to protect digital transaction data against cyberattacks and information hacks.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our back-end best practices and standards.

• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).

• Work with others to design and build our systems using blockchain and have strong expertise within smart contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of professional experience, with a focus on web applications

Skills

• Experience working with MERN stack. 

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, Sass, NPM, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• Proficiency in using Git version control and command line.

• Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Understanding Blockchain-specific tools, APIs, and Frameworks such as Demux.js, The graph API, exchange rate APIs, etc. will be a plus. 

• Previous experience working with smart contracts or blockchain tech will be treated as a plus.
