Prepare detailed drilling & well re-entry programs and cost estimates.
Design & review well design, workover design and drilling engineering aspects for all Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells including sour and HPHT environment.
Arrangement of drilling equipment, material and personnel requirement.
Providing technical support to Drilling and Completion Superintendent & Company Man.
Apply new technology to drilling operations and engineering.
Prepare tender documents, initiate requirements in SAP, review bids and provide technical evaluation for drilling contracts.
Optimize drilling with latest technique in the aspects of well profile, mud system, bit selection, drilling tools, wellheads and hydraulics and so on to reduce the drilling cost.
Assist Well operations Manager to manage and organize services in order to keep teamwork in most effective manner and bring down the prices of services.
Monitor & support drilling operations to ensure everything running in conforming to Company plans, policy and HSE.
Give adequate training to young engineers and make them aware of the company policy, engineering principle and best practices.
Supervise onsite drilling operations if required, in case of non-availability of Company Man.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets and AFEs for drilling operations.
Perform & QC daily and final cost estimates for drilling operations.
QC daily drilling reports.
Prepare end of well reports and perform NPT analysis.
Prepare technical presentation as and when required for drilling projects.
Candidate Profile:
Graduate from reputable institute in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, wide and deep theoretic studies on all aspects of drilling. Ability to work independently and autonomously.
Drilling experiences for at least 6 years.
Experience in different fields and environments and good knowledge of technologies and markets.
Ability to use Landmark EDM® drilling suite and Well view® or equivalent.
Team player having well-developed interpersonal and negotiating skills.
