Description:
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining data models and reports using Microsoft Power BI. You will leverage your expertise in SQL databases, Spark, and data visualization tools like Tableau to extract valuable insights from data, empowering stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop insightful data models and reports using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Tableau reporting solutions.
- Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support user stories, including UI/visualization aspects.
- Implementing best practices in terms of the design and architecture of the visualization dashboards.
- Create Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, and Data Connections.
- Create Tableau Calculations (Table Calculations, Hide Columns, Creating/Using Parameters, Totals) and Formatting (Annotations, Layout Containers, Mark Labels, Rich Text Formatting, Shared Encoding) using Tableau Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau server architecture and applying business rules and data validations.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
- Clean and transform data to ensure its accuracy and completeness for analysis.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
- Implementing data and report-level access controls and entitlements.
- Comfortable in manipulating and analyzing complex high-volume dimensionality data from varying sources and excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of formal database architecture and design.
- A solid understanding of SQL and knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, data analysis, and data visualization.
