Sr Associate Unity Game Developer

Subrays Technologies (PRIVATE) LIMITED is looking for a talented “Sr Associate Unity game developer” with at least 1 year of experience in game development. As a “Sr Associate Unity Game Developer”, your duties will be designing, developing, and maintaining games using the Unity game engine. You will work with a team of experienced developers, artists, and designers. Your expertise in Unity development, game mechanics, and software architecture will be important in delivering high-quality games.

Responsibilities:

Game Development: Collaborate with the game design team to implement game mechanics, features, and systems using the Unity game engine. Translate game design documents and concepts into functional gameplay elements.

Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# to implement game logic, user interfaces, character controllers, artificial intelligence, and other game systems. Ensure code is optimized for performance and scalability.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate artwork, animations, and audio into the game. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate the game with server infrastructure and ensure seamless online multiplayer functionality.

Optimization and Performance: Profile and optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across target platforms. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other performance-related issues.

Qualifications and experience expected from candidates:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Game Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing Unity game projects.
• Proficiency in C# scripting within Unity and a solid understanding of game development principles.
• Familiarity with Unity's asset pipeline, scene management, and animator controllers.
• Experience with optimizing games for performance and memory usage.
• 2D and/or 3D game development skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to deliver polished and enjoyable gaming experiences.
• Passion for video games and a deep understanding of gaming trends and player preferences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
