Sqa Engineer

Description:

Viral Square is looking for an SQA Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The candidate will be responsible for manual and automated testing, identifying defects, and ensuring that our applications meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
• Ensure that applications meet business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to improve testing processes
• Ensure software compliance with industry best practices and company standards

Preferred Skills

• Experience with manual testing methodologies
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Trello
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or REST Assured
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
