Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer specializing in mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The SQA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that our mobile applications are functional, user-friendly, and meet the highest quality standards. The role requires hands-on testing expertise, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to work closely with cross-functional teams during the development process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Collaborate with the Development Team: Participate in application planning sessions to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Provide insights and feedback on potential quality issues early in the development cycle.

 

- API Testing: Utilize Postman to perform API testing, ensuring seamless and accurate communication between different components within the application. Validate API responses for data integrity, performance, and error handling.

 

- Mobile Application Testing: Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. Validate application functionality, usability, and overall user experience to ensure high-quality releases.

 

- System Performance Testing: Use JMeter or similar tools to evaluate system performance, conducting load and stress testing to confirm the application can handle various user loads and maintain performance benchmarks.

 

- Ads Testing and Compliance: Test ads within mobile apps, confirming ad displays are aligned with design and functional expectations. Ensure all ads comply with Play Store policies to prevent any violations, maximizing the app’s compliance and integrity.

 

- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track issues, ensuring clear and actionable feedback for the development team. Use bug-tracking tools to record, prioritize, and monitor the resolution of issues.

 

- Quality Standards and Best Practices: Promote quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle, championing user-centered quality and continuous improvement.

 

Key Requirements:

 

- Experience in Mobile Application Testing: Proven experience in testing mobile applications, specifically on Android and iOS platforms. Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of mobile app testing.

 

- Proficiency with Testing Tools:

 

- Postman for API testing.

 

- JMeter or similar tools for performance and load testing.

 

- Knowledge of Ad Testing and Compliance: Understanding of Play Store policies related to ads within mobile applications, with experience ensuring ad compliance and avoiding violations.

 

- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to detect and address issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

 

- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work closely with development and product teams, communicating effectively and proactively to address potential quality concerns.
