Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Agent to join our team and help us find the best apparel suppliers and manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the apparel industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a network of reliable contacts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that we partner with high-quality suppliers, manage cost efficiencies, and maintain consistent production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and factories for apparel production
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Ensure that products meet quality standards, compliance, and specifications
- Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
- Stay updated on market trends, fabric innovations, and supply chain developments
- Coordinate with internal teams to align sourcing with production and business goals
- Resolve any supply issues and ensure smooth communication between suppliers and our team
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sourcing Agent in the apparel industry
- Strong knowledge of apparel production processes, materials, and market trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks in sourcing and supply chain management
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers simultaneously
- Existing network of suppliers and manufacturers is a plus
