Solar System Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Surveys & Load Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess rooftop space, structural integrity, and electricity load requirements.
• Solar System Design: Use Helioscope, PV*Sol, or PVSyst to design grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid solar PV systems.
• BOQ Preparation: Prepare a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on site survey findings, load assessment, and optimized system design.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all designs meet local grid regulations, NEC/IEC standards, and industry best practices.
• Net Metering & Approvals: Assist in preparing technical documentation for net metering applications and coordinate approvals with DISCOs/AEDB.

Who Should Apply?

• Education: BE, BSc/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
• Experience: 1-3 years in solar system design, preferably for residential rooftop solar projects.
