Description:
A Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, designing custom solar energy solutions, and driving sales to achieve company targets. The ideal candidate will utilize their technical expertise and sales acumen to identify new business opportunities, conduct site assessments, and oversee project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy systems.
- Generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and project lifecycle.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of solar energy systems to design and propose customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related fieldor relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in the solar industry, with a proven track record in sales and technical roles.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including PV design, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
