We, Teqtive are seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities in the solar market.
- Conduct site assessments and evaluate the feasibility of solar installations based on customer needs and site conditions.
- Collaborate with customers to design custom solar solutions that optimize energy production and cost savings.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, including answering technical questions and resolving issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in solar technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business with technical background, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar sales or engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems and photovoltaic (PV) technology.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with the team and independently.
