Responsibilities:
→ Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
→ Perform both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure software stability and reliability.
→ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and business analysts, to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
→ Design and maintain test environments, test data, and test infrastructure to support testing efforts.
→ Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, identifying areas for automation and efficiency enhancement.
→ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
→ Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall software quality to stakeholders.
Requirements:
→ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
→ Proven experience of 3+ years as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
→ Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
→ Experience with manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
→ Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
→ Familiarity with various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
→ Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
→ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
→ Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
→ Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
