Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee the finishing stages of our civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil finishing projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to civil finishing works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
- Quality Control: Inspect and monitor work progress, ensuring that all finishing tasks (e.g., plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, etc.) meet the required quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate the work of site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient and productive site operations.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring their proper usage and maintenance.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the finishing stages of the project promptly and effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including daily logs, site diaries, and incident reports to the Project Manager.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs and work within the allocated budget, identifying areas for cost-saving without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising ID, civil finishing projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction finishing techniques and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
