Shopify Frontend Developer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Shopify Frontend Developer to join our team at our Gulberg office. In this role, you will be responsible for customizing Shopify themes, enhancing UI/UX, and ensuring smooth and responsive eCommerce experiences. You will work in close coordination with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-performing Shopify stores that engage users and drive higher conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Theme Development & Customization: Build custom Shopify themes and modify existing ones according to client requirements.
✅ UI/UX Implementation: Convert design mockups and wireframes into functional, responsive, and aesthetically appealing Shopify pages.
✅ Liquid Templating: Work with Shopify’s Liquid language to develop custom functionalities and app integrations.
✅ Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are fast-loading, compatible across devices, and provide a seamless user experience.
✅ Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve website issues, provide ongoing maintenance, and manage timely updates.
✅ Team Collaboration: Coordinate with designers, project managers, and developers to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Strong command over HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with a focus on responsive design.
✔ Proficiency with Shopify Liquid templating language.
✔ In-depth understanding of the Shopify platform, including themes, apps, and admin tools.
✔ Basic understanding of SEO best practices for Shopify websites.
✔ Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

➕ Experience with Headless Commerce setups or Shopify Hydrogen is a big plus.

Soft Skills:

✨ Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical team members.
✨ Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
