Description:

Team in Asia is a dynamic technology partner working with global clients to drive digital success. In this particular role, the developer will support a UK-based Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand, contributing to the brand’s e-commerce growth and website performance.

Key Responsibilities:
💻 Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify-based websites for high performance and responsiveness.
💻 Build custom Shopify themes and modify existing templates as needed.
💻 Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance website functionality.
💻 Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
💻 Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX designs.
💻 Support junior developers in resolving technical challenges.
💻 Stay updated with the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements:
✅ 3 to 5 years of proven web development experience, with strong expertise in Shopify development (both frontend and backend).
✅ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
✅ Experience with backend technologies such as PHP and MySQL.
✅ Familiarity with Git and best practices related to web performance, SEO, and accessibility.
✅ Experience working with Western clients (remote project delivery experience preferred).
✅ Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
✅ Ability to work flexibly to align partially with UK working hours.
✅ Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with the Shopify Admin API is a plus.
✅ Familiarity with frameworks like Vue.js or React is also a bonus.
