We are seeking a talented Shopify Developer to join our team at Ecom Panda. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify stores for our clients. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Shopify, an eye for design, and strong problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch and customize existing themes based on client requirements.
- Integrate third-party applications and Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
- Optimize Shopify stores for performance, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to store functionality, cart/checkout, or theme errors.
- Collaborate with the design, marketing, and project management teams to deliver high-quality eCommerce experiences.
- Implement new features and enhancements to improve user experience and drive conversions.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for all Shopify projects.
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow best development practices.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, new features, and emerging trends in eCommerce technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a portfolio of successful Shopify projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, BootStrap, TailwindCSS, JavaScript (jQuery), Liquid, and React.
- Strong understanding of Shopify's API and experience in integrating third-party apps.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus and advanced Shopify features is a plus.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working with design teams.
- Knowledge of SEO, web performance optimization, and best practices in eCommerce.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
