We are seeking an experienced Shopify Store Customization Specialist to work on a project basis. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Shopify customization beyond basic drag-and-drop functionalities. You will be responsible for tailoring our Shopify store to meet specific design and functionality requirements, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Customize Shopify themes and templates to align with our brand identity and specific project requirements.
- Develop and implement custom Shopify features and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize the store for speed and performance.
- Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to integrate custom graphics, content, and features.
- Ensure the store is mobile-responsive and SEO-friendly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Shopify store.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and best practices in Shopify customization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customizing Shopify stores beyond basic drag-and-drop functionality.
- Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
- Portfolio of previous Shopify customization projects is a plus.
