Maxenius is looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer who will be responsible for leading web development projects, database design, and performance optimization. This role requires a strong technical background in WordPress, database architecture, security, and project management. You will collaborate with junior developers, clients, and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure best practices in WordPress development.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 WordPress Development & Customization:
✔ Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements.
✔ Implement responsive web design and ensure mobile optimization.
✔ Ensure code quality, security best practices, and performance optimization.

📌 Database & Performance Optimization:
✔ Design and optimize database structures to ensure stability, reliability, and performance.
✔ Optimize server-side operations, caching strategies, and content delivery networks (CDNs).

📌 Leadership & Mentorship:
✔ Lead website development projects, including scoping, task delegation, and timeline management.
✔ Review and provide constructive feedback on junior developers’ code to maintain coding standards.
✔ Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.

📌 Security & Web Standards:
✔ Implement robust security measures, including data encryption, authentication, and protection against vulnerabilities.
✔ Ensure websites adhere to industry best practices and web standards.

📌 Client Collaboration & Technical Consultation:
✔ Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
✔ Address client feedback and requests while delivering high-quality web solutions.

📌 Technology Research & Implementation:
✔ Stay updated with emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices.
✔ Research and implement new tools and techniques to enhance WordPress development processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
✔ Extensive experience with WordPress CMS, including custom theme and plugin development.
✔ Expertise in responsive web design and mobile-first development.
✔ Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
✔ Proven experience in project leadership and client communication.
✔ Deep understanding of web security best practices.
✔ Excellent teamwork, communication, and mentoring skills.
✔ A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
✔ Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Web Development.
