Senior Training Specialist

Description:

The role entails leading the whole activity while organising and supervising various training sessions and ensure regular reporting and coordination with external stakeholders including TADAP. The hired resource will be responsible for introducing female enterpreneurs to core areas of trade credit, and trade documentation. The specialist will be required to blend in-depth theoretical instruction with engaging interactive workshops, exercises and practical insights from real-world case studies for better understanding.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead this exercise, organise entire trainings and supervise other team members as well. The role will require regular reporting as well as Inception Report, review reports and final report.
• Provide training sessions to women enterprenerurs on sessions on trade credit and trade documentation.
• Facilitate interactive session with TDAP’s experts, discussing potential collaborations, tapping into global markets, international trade issues and addressing common challenges.
  • Compile and present findings, recommendations, and final reflections to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade and associated domains, with at least 5 years in training, advisory or consultancy roles.
• Masters, preferably in economics, business administration, trade, commerce or related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trade laws and practices.
• Effective training and facilitation skills
• Excellent teaching, presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into understandable material.
• Experience of working for or in collaboration with governmental organisations would be preferred.
