Description:
Clarisync is looking to hire Senior Technical Content Writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation for our products and services. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.
Candidates must show a positive attitude and willingness to learn during the probation time. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.
Completion of this probation will lead to a permanent position of to the deserving candidates in the respective departments according to their skill set & performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, quality assurance specialists, and support staff, to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, enhancements, and updates in a timely manner.
- Ensure documentation is user-friendly and accessible, providing clear instructions and guidance to users of varying technical backgrounds.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to junior technical writers and other team members as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in documentation development and maintenance processes.
- Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects under the guidance of senior management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to contribute insights for business growth and innovation.
- Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals as part of ongoing learning and skill enhancement.
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to learning, taking ownership of tasks and projects assigned during the training period.
- Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility and resilience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a proven track record of creating high-quality technical documentation for software products or services.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Madcap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar authoring tools. Experience with version control.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to review and edit technical content for clarity, consistency, and correctness.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with team members at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
