Senior System Engineer

Description:

Responsibilities:

Perform database administration tasks Installing and maintaining (SQL and Oracle).

Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.

Knowledge of database backup/Recovery procedures.

Deploying and administering physical and virtual infrastructure

Designing and implementing Disaster Recovery Plans

Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation of daily routines.

Familiarity with code repository tools such as SVN, GitHub, and Git.

Handle web hosting and manage SSL certificates.

Expert in Microsoft Hyper-V for VM creation, replication, and backup policies.

Veeam Backup and Replication for data backup and disaster recovery.

Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux administration.

Install patches and updates on servers to ensure security and stability.

Monitor system performance using tools like PRTG and Zabbix.

Manage Azure cloud services, including resource provisioning and administration.

Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, including sites and policy management.

Experience in Kaspersky Security Center.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.

Responsible for maintaining incident documentation/reports and creation/upgrade of SOPs
