Role Overview: As a Senior SQA Analyst with a focus on manual testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your experience and expertise will be vital in designing and executing effective manual testing strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch software to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and define testing objectives.

• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated testing may not catch.

• Document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test results for reference and future regression testing.

• Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks, ensuring timely completion while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide quality-focused input and ensure testability of features.

• Act as a mentor to junior QA team members, providing guidance and sharing best practices in manual testing methodologies.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and participating in QA process discussions.

• Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and relevant details, to aid developers in troubleshooting and resolution.

• Collaborate with the automation testing team to ensure seamless integration between manual and automated testing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Software QA Analyst with a strong emphasis on manual testing.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and defect tracking.

• Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and root causes effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in testing efforts.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks based on project needs.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or similar.

• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus but not the primary focus of this role.
