Senior Software Engineer

This role is specific to Seed's fintech arm, where we are building high-frequency trading algorithms and a decentralised derivatives trading platform. Prior experience building financial algorithms is not expected.

What you need / Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional full-stack experience with proficiency in Node.js or GoLang for backend and expertise with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks (we use React)
• Exposure to AWS deployment and container technologies such as Docker
• Comfortable working with Git
• You write secure, efficient, high quality, well tested code with a good understanding of CS fundamentals

What you'll do:

• Architect and develop end to end features - ranging from relational database design, to REST/GraphQL APIs and a React based frontend
• Own and maintain the quality of your deliverables through good design, implementation and testing
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Write clear documentation
• Write comprehensive and meaningful unit & integration tests
